About Me
Kristy is a mother, a nurse, hobbyist photographer and an outdoor enthusiast. She completed her 46-R in May of 2018 and is constantly in pursuit of outdoor adventures. This blog is born out of her love for the Adirondacks.

It is my hope and mission to provide you with trusted, meaningful content on the Adirondacks and hiking in general. Whether you are brand new or a seasoned hiker, I want to help keep you safe and informed!
Our Ethics
It is my belief that we each have a responsibility to keep the trails and mountains for generations to come. We can all do our part by learning and following Leave No Trace principles. One of my goals is to make sure that everyone in my path is equipped with the knowledge to do so. ADK Mountaingirl is an inclusive space that welcomes all outdoor enthusiasts from all experiences and backgrounds including persons with disability, BIPOC, and LGBTIQ.
